Privacy Policy — Fix Timer

Last updated: 2026-05-27

Fix Timer does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

What Fix Timer does

Fix Timer is a flight-timing utility that runs entirely on your device. It exists to help pilots compute estimated times of arrival at waypoints along a route.

Data we collect

None. Fix Timer does not have user accounts, does not request access to contacts, photos, location, or any other system permission, and does not include any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Data stored on your device

The flight plans you create — trip names, callsigns, takeoff times, waypoints, leg times — are saved locally on your iPhone or iPad using the standard iOS UserDefaults mechanism. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it (e.g., by tapping the Share button to export a text nav-log via the iOS share sheet).

You can delete all stored data at any time by uninstalling the app.

Network requests

Fix Timer makes one type of network request, only when you open the Radio sheet:

It fetches a publicly available HTML page from arinc.net (operated by Collins Aerospace) listing HF and VHF frequencies for oceanic flight regions. The response is parsed and cached on your device so the data is available offline thereafter. This request is not associated with any identifier; ARINC’s web servers see only a standard HTTPS request from your device’s IP address, the same as if you visited that page in any browser.

If you never open the Radio sheet, Fix Timer makes no network requests.

Third-party services

Fix Timer integrates with no third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or social networks.

Children’s privacy

Fix Timer is rated 4+ and does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the change will be reflected in an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and a new version of the app will note the change in the App Store release notes.
